But at a certain point, you must snip the umbilical chord, and continue to <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2021\/01\/26\/propogate\/\">propagate<\/a> yourself, on your own path.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-master-one-sword-camera\">2. Which means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>If you truly want to master photography, you must master one tool.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, that is <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2021\/02\/15\/why-you-must-buy-ricoh-gr-iii\/\">RICOH GR<\/a>. I used all the cameras out there, including <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/leica-manual\/\">LEICA<\/a>, and I am convinced (for me):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>RICOH GR III is the perfect camera.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>It takes a long enough time to master one thing &#8230; why keep switching? Keeping the &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2017\/02\/23\/10-reasons-why-i-shoot-with-one-camera-and-one-lens\/\">one camera, one lens<\/a>&#8216; zen &#8230; you will reduce &#8216;decision fatigue&#8217; when it comes to choosing your camera, and you can focus on what is really important to you &#8230; shooting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-voracious-for-more\">3. The goal is to go further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Find deep gratitude and joy for your past photos, but always be hungry for more.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2021\/02\/15\/the-photos-you-have-yet-shot-are-your-most-important-photos\/\">The photos you have yet shot are your most important photos<\/a><\/strong>. I didn&#8217;t realize this until the <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2021\/02\/13\/why-i-photographed-the-birth-of-my-first-child\/\">birth and photography of my first child and
