As I get older, it seems I prize reliability more and more. The \u00e2\u20ac\u0153best\u00e2\u20ac\u009d less and less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Priuses over Lamborghinis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lamborghinis and hyper cars are cool, but are they reliable? No. A simple reason I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d never desire to own<\/em> and have to maintain<\/em> a Lamborghini. It seems with cars, the most reliable car is the best (I think it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s probably a Toyota Prius).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disdain for unreliable cameras <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

RICOH GR III<\/a> is an insanely great camera, but it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s also insanely unreliable<\/a>. A reason I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m starting to disdain this camera, and prefer the robust and reliable nature of my Lumix G9<\/a>. Especially for us photographers, missing a decisive moment … is it worth it? I say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If for every 10,000 photo attempts with one critical error of your camera, it ain\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t worth it. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Recently my RICOH GR III has been having errors\u00e2\u20ac\u201d storage errors. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d shoot a photo and the screen turns black and says \u00e2\u20ac\u0153image cannot be stored\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. Fuck that! If I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m trying to photograph a decisive moment<\/a> of any kind of insanely high worth and my RICOH fails, it ain\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t worth using at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
