To become part of a pre-existing market, or to create a *new* market?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='1180' height='664' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/RZKFFWeY?autoPlay=1&amp;loop=1&amp;muted=1&amp;persistVolume=0&amp;preloadContent=metadata&amp;hd=0&amp;cover=1' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1770107250'><\/script>\n<\/div><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/product\/street-photography-starter-kit\/\">Street Photography Starter Kit<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Silicon Valley talks a lot about &#8216;product-market fit&#8217; which means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Make sure your product fits your desired market.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the problem:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>What if the market doesn&#8217;t yet exist?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then in this case, you utilize your Nietzscheian will to *CREATE* a new market. What I did for street photography and street photography <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/workshops\/\">workshops<\/a>. When I started this blog in 2010, the thought of being a &#8216;full-time&#8217; street photographer was a non-concept. I thought it was very impractical to make a &#8216;full time living&#8217; from photography. But I just got lucky &#8212; I made this blog, got made redundant from my job in 2011, and in 2011, I decided to pursue this blog and workshops full-time. And I have succeeded the last 9 years! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How did I win? Simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I am insanely passionate about photography, street photography, blogging, sharing ideas\/wisdom\/lessons.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I then just don&#8217;t censor myself. I keep streaming myself, my thoughts and ideas. It is easy to me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-how-to-create-a-new-market\">2. Simple as that. Best for people to discover you &#8216;organically&#8217; through <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/09\/25\/how-to-master-google-seo-search-engine-optimization\/\">Google Search<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/08\/08\/youtube-seo-search-engine-optimization-for-photographers\/\">YouTube<\/a> search, or from word-of-mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And go *BEYOND* &#8216;search engine optimization&#8217;. Go for &#8216;c<a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/10\/14\/human-optimization-ho-not-search-engine-optimization-seo\/\">Human Optimization (HO), *NOT* Search Engine Optimization (SEO)<\/a>&#8216;.
