Towards a more <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/07\/10\/carnivore-diet\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"250890\">carnivorous diet<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Vegetarianism, veganism and alcohol?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A funny thought:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Have I ever met a vegetarian or vegan who *didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t* drink alcohol?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Nietzsche was highly skeptical and critical of <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/04\/my-thoughts-on-vegetarianism-and-veganism\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"240481\">vegetarianism<\/a> (veganism didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t exist then in Germany and Europe yet). He saw vegetarianism and alcoholism as going hand-in-hand. Nietzsche was also highly critical of alcohol, alcoholism in Europe at the time. Also as a Catholic I can say &#8230; most Korean priests I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve known drink a loooooot of alcohol (soju, to be specific).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t think that alcohol is bad. But I wonder \u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Is there a connection between vegetarianism, veganism, and alcohol which is weakening to our bodily physiology?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Thinking beyond politics and political correctness and environmentalism <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='500' height='281' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/WfEfVPmX?autoPlay=1&amp;loop=1&amp;muted=1&amp;persistVolume=0&amp;preloadContent=metadata&amp;hd=0&amp;cover=1' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1674852142'><\/script>\n<\/div><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/08\/20\/eric-kim-eats\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"266773\">ERIC KIM EATS<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I am unapologetically a carnivore and meat eater. Yes I still eat bitter greens (I eat around 1-2 pounds of kale or collard greens a day, typically from out of a frozen bag, Stop and Shop the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Ghetto\u00e2\u20ac\u009dbrand here on the east coast). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In short, all my food is typically red (meat) or green (kale or collard greens). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Towards a more \u00e2\u20ac\u0153meat-forward\u00e2\u20ac\u009d diet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='500' height='281' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/CANRcLEZ?autoPlay=1&amp;loop=1&amp;muted=1&amp;persistVolume=0&amp;preloadContent=metadata&amp;hd=0&amp;cover=1' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1674852142'><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I am convinced\u00e2\u20ac\u201d if your goal is maximal health, physiological joy and vigor .. the goal then is a combination of <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/07\/16\/why-i-love-intermittent-fasting\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"252843\">intermittent fasting<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/07\/22\/how-i-break-my-fast\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"255333\">breaking your fast<\/a> with a massive meat-forward meal, and sleeping early (get into bed by 8pm, like Tom Brady).
