His work, The nail that sticks up will be hammered down takes a surgical look at the clash between Japan’s idea of collectivism and the western or perhaps modern idea of individualism. The photographs are executed with such cleanliness. It shows cliches that you will see in Japan such as Kimonos and Salary Men but what elevates the work is the flow and relationship of each of the pictures. The color palette lacks vibrancy despite seeing different colors in the images. Overall, it is a well executed work.

Take a look at his Singles work as well. A mixture of quirky and colorful street photographs from different places and festivals. Fans of humorous street photography would love it.

Collective Find

Insight Collective

The latest collective to come out of South Asia. Muhammad Imam Hasan, Faisal Bin Rahman Shuvo, and Md. Enamul Kabir are hard workers and straight shooters.
