But my thought:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Instead of draining your <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/02\/16\/how-to-augment-human-energy\/\">human energy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/07\/18\/master-your-metabolism\/\">metabolism<\/a> into video games, why not use this energy to make photos, make <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/videos\">videos<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/07\/29\/how-to-lift-weights\/\">lift weights<\/a> and augment your own <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/23\/flesh-is-the-future\/\">flesh<\/a> in real life [<a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/03\/27\/embodied-reality\/\">embodied reality<\/a>]?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='1180' height='664' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/MdHk991m?autoPlay=1&amp;loop=1&amp;muted=1&amp;persistVolume=0&amp;preloadContent=metadata&amp;hd=0&amp;cover=1' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1770107250'><\/script>\n<\/div><figcaption>Just Record and Share It!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Fighting games?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We like to play Street Fighter and other fighting games. But why not do it in real life? Pick up a boxing class? Or learn Jiu-Jitsu or UFC-style &#8216;MMA&#8217; (mixed martial arts) fighting like my friend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/141635991@N02\/\">Shay Allen<\/a>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. You are not building equity in yourself<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you get really really good at any video game, but suddenly this video game is no longer popular&#8230; then you&#8217;re fucked. Why? All those hours of hard work and effort are now worthless. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Build your own flesh<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/04\/09\/the-art-of-bodybuilding\/\">praise of bodybuilding<\/a> instead of video game playing.
