The notion of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153van life\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153tiny homes\u00e2\u20ac\u009d are a trap. Why? It makes us think:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once I just disconnect from technology, society, and go \u00e2\u20ac\u0153off the grid\u00e2\u20ac\u009d I can finally become happy and free. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Not true. Far better to be part of society, live in a city, and live in a tiny (\u00e2\u20ac\u0153luxury\u00e2\u20ac\u009d) apartment than to live sequestered from society …. cut off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimalism is escapism. <\/strong>Escapism from the reality of our own lives. In other words:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
