My personal critique on Silicon Valley. Why I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m pro-Peter Thiel<\/a>, less so almost everyone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I grew up in the Bay Area \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Alameda to be specific. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve witnessed the Bay Area to become a bizarre place. Silicon Valley in my eyes is San Francisco, Palo Alto, and San Jose. Truth be told to live anywhere in Silicon Valley is boring as hell \u00e2\u20ac\u201d why all the kids like to live in SF mission or other places. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bay Area is no longer tolerant <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When I grew up in the Bay, it was the most \u00e2\u20ac\u0153chill\u00e2\u20ac\u009d place to grow up. Very open minded folks. But now … very close minded. In fact if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153liberal\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in the SF-Bay Area, you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re probably incredibly intolerant<\/a> towards the opinions of others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
