Be maximally transparent about how x, y, z benefits you. Perhaps Google can be improved (not by changing their <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/05\/25\/algorithm-slavery\/\">algorithm<\/a>), but just being more transparent on <em>how<\/em> their algorithm works, and <em>why<\/em> it works that way (to maximize advertising revenue). Google could do this without giving away the secret sauce of their search algorithm, but could be more transparent about their method, technique and approach. To become less <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/28\/google-isnt-evil-google-is-sneaky\/\">sneaky<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maximal transparency about your intentions <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ironically enough, when you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re 100% transparent about your personal and <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/07\/25\/selfish-isnt-evil\/\">selfish<\/a> motives, you actually build and garner more <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/30\/dont-trust-me\/\">trust<\/a>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Perhaps this is the most ethical thing we can do.
