This is a distillation of all of my current thoughts and philosophies on street photography. Many of these sayings and ideas are heavily borrowed from others, and none of these ideas are original.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t take everything in this list as &#8220;truth&#8221;. Rather, take everything with a grain of salt. The moment you hesitate to approach them, you won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t talk to that person. The best place to shoot is your own backyard.<\/li>\n<li>A tip to become a better photographer: take a photo of something boring and make it look interesting. At the end of the day, an exhibition is only photos hung on a wall.<\/li>\n<li>Social media fame is a fruitless thing to chase after; will it really matter 100 years from now that you had a million followers on Facebook, Twitter, or Flickr? Will these networks still be around then? Rarely do they think that owning less gear will make them happier.<\/li>\n<li>The secret to happiness? Buy experiences, not gear.
