No such thing as good or evil. It is simply about being effective or ineffective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Effective ways to influence others <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='500' height='281' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/l6rHgfy2?autoPlay=1&amp;loop=1&amp;muted=1&amp;persistVolume=0&amp;preloadContent=metadata&amp;hd=0&amp;cover=1' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1674852142'><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Face, video, audio: more trust in human faces, the voice, and body language.<\/strong> People attend my workshops because they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve seen my YouTube videos and end up trusting and liking me.<\/li><li>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153<em>just google me<\/em>\u00e2\u20ac\u009d: if I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m #1 on google for anything, people will think I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m the #1 authority or expert in it. <strong>Google in today\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s world is truth<\/strong>. <\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/open-source\/\">open and free<\/a><\/strong>: if you truly want to influence the thinking and acting of others, keep it open. For example don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t charge money for your ideas. Keep it open and free, open access. <strong>No copyright.<\/strong> This is probably why ultimately google android will triumph over Apple iOS in the long run \u00e2\u20ac\u201d android will continue to multiply like a virus, and will become the ultimate dominant operating system on earth.<\/li><li>no advertising in your YouTube videos: <strong>influence and power is more important than money<\/strong>. Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t put ads in your YouTube videos. <strong>In the long run, if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re influential, money will flow to you<\/strong>. <\/li><li><strong>simple and easy to remember: things which rhyme and are catchy are more influential<\/strong>. For some reason when things rhyme or sound good, they seem more true. For example, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153when in doubt, throw it out\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Buy books, not fear\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Just shoot it\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Practice makes perfect\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entertain and educate people at the same time.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='500' height='281' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/RZKFFWeY?autoPlay=1&amp;loop=1&amp;muted=1&amp;persistVolume=0&amp;preloadContent=metadata&amp;hd=0&amp;cover=1' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1674852142'><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The most effective form of influence (Horace) says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Entertain and educate people.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>It has to be fun and interesting. Use comedy. Have fun. Make it playful. But also teach through action and interest. This is why documentary films can be effective \u00e2\u20ac\u201d if it is both educational and entertaining, it fascinates and influences us more. Just follow yourself. Give them a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153POV\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or behind the scenes. When I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m at the gym, the TVs are all muted. Same goes with sports bars. Now I just assume most people like to consume information which doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t require sound. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>videos and YouTube will always triumph over podcasts. I use WordPress \u00e2\u20ac\u0153video press\u00e2\u20ac\u009d (jet pack plugin, paid) to host my videos.
