You. My self. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When I talk to you, I&#8217;m actually talking to myself <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I talk to you, I&#8217;m actually embodying you as myself. My ideal reader is myself. To put the needs of others above yourself; this is insane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When I help others, I help myself. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='500' height='281' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/psWMqYfK?preloadContent=metadata&amp;hd=0&amp;cover=1' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1674852142'><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A truism I&#8217;ve discovered about myself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>When I help others, it is always in my own self-interest. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, when I help Cindy I help myself. If she&#8217;s maximally empowered, so am I. So my &#8220;selfless&#8221; behavior towards Cindy is actually selfish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why I help others<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I only like to help others in whom I see myself. When I help others, I feel my own ego and self becoming augmented. With my friends, I see my soul in them.
