And if we are striving to impress others, we will more likely make boring stuff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why strive towards perfection?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Horace once said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;I shall make a monument more lasting than bronze!&#8221; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But &#8212; is anything and everything meant to last forever?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As artists, is it more fun to embrace <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/02\/10\/ephemeral\/\">ephemerality<\/a> in life, and delight in it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Striving for perfection is paralyzing.
