If we take it to the Proto-Indo-European, we get to the notion of &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/Reconstruction:Proto-Indo-European\/weyd-\">weyd<\/a>&#8216;, which means also &#8220;<em>to know<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So in simple terms, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>When we see something, we believe we understand and know it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why is there a perceived difference between video and photo?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video alignfull wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='1180' height='664' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/Sl2zYM0e?autoPlay=1&amp;loop=1&amp;muted=1&amp;persistVolume=0&amp;preloadContent=metadata&amp;hd=0&amp;cover=1' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1770107250'><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For some reason, photographers and &#8216;video-graphers&#8217; tend to put themselves into different camps. But to me, they are simply the opposite sides of the same coin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I believe that photographers should shoot more videos, and more videographers should shoot more photos.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To shoot video or photo requires visual skill and <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/product\/how-to-see\/\">acuity<\/a>. Why don&#8217;t we build ALL aspects of our visual skill &#8212; to build our skills in capturing <strong>still<\/strong> photos and <strong>moving<\/strong> photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
