It seems sound (rhythm, tone, music) is the most primal, then perhaps comes the visual (we interpret hand gestures, body symbolism). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wonder \u00e2\u20ac\u201d why do we love images? Is \u00e2\u20ac\u0153visual intelligence\u00e2\u20ac\u009dreal and something to be desired?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Why do we have two eyes?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We humans have two eyes for our vision. To perceive depth. Depth perception was certainly good in terms of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Seeing how far away your prey (or predator) was <\/li>
  2. Determining distances (how far away the water and trees are)<\/li>
  3. To determine how \u00e2\u20ac\u0153good\u00e2\u20ac\u009da certain area was for habitation <\/li>
  4. Hunting and gathering is highly dependent on our visual senses. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    So certainly our visual sense and acuity is highly developed as human beings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Certainly a human being without strong visual senses would have perished a long time ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Why do we trust photos more than our words?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Pix or it didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t happen\u00e2\u20ac\u009dseems to ring true. If I met Kanye West, they would certainly be more impressed if I shot a selfie with him. Why is this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Truth making is much more direct and clear in our eyes. For the most part, we see photographs as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153objective reality\u00e2\u20ac\u009dand truth. Photos accurately depict embodied reality. It won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t tell you context, situation, or scene \u00e2\u20ac\u201d but it can tell you a lot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Of course just photos and visual senses are lacking. Certainly there is a need for sound, rhythm, dance, texture (haptic feedback), light, space, and the such. But it certainly seems in the 21st century, photos reign king<\/strong>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
