Images load MUCH faster!<\/li><li>Simpler UI\/UX<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Downsides of Lightroom CC vs Lightroom Classic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Subscription model (you must pay every month. I am lucky as I get Lightroom CC for free as Cindy is affiliated with the university).<\/li><li>Lost functionality (cannot rename photos on export)<\/li><li>Lightroom Classic has been around longer &#8212; and probably is the &#8216;superior&#8217; product in many ways. But for myself, I prefer speed.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Practical suggestions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For desktop, simply experiment with the new Lightroom CC. If you don&#8217;t like it, don&#8217;t use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lightroom Classic is still supported and being updated.
