We love Elon Musk<\/a>, Tesla, and electric cars. Why no love for \u00e2\u20ac\u0153electric cameras\u00e2\u20ac\u009d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

A bias:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital photography isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t as legitimate as analogue photography. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Similar bias in auto sports: electric cars aren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t seen as cool as (very loud) petroleum cars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what if electric<\/a> cars were superior to gas cars? (I think they are). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what if digital (electric) cameras were superior to analogue (film) cameras?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think I actually prefer the high contrast jpeg files of RICOH GR III even MORE than black and white film.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This is huge. This means\u00e2\u20ac\u201d why waste money on buying film, and meddling around with processing and scanning film?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re in a brave new world in photography<\/a>: I think finally in 2019 digital photography has surpassed analogue photography in terms of image quality and aesthetics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
