Something which is lacking in modern life:

Our ability (or confidence) to brazenly assert our OWN OPINION (quoting ourselves, not others!)

Your opinion is the best opinion

Your opinion (your preference, what you think, what you decide to choose) is subjective, and thus ‘true’ to yourself. When studying the philosophies or opinions of others, it is to spark new ideas within yourself, or perhaps to reverberate the beliefs you already believe within yourself.

The goal is for you to judge, and for you to think much and distill your thoughts, then OPINE (share your opinion and beliefs with others). I think in modern times, the best way to share your opinion is on your own blog (as I do here).

Why share your opinion?

Another thought:

Why share your opinion, if your opinion is only subjective, and might only apply to yourself?

My thought: if your opinion has the power to even power the thoughts or minds/souls of one other human being on planet earth, it is worth sharing your opinion!

All opinions are legitimate. Not all opinions are equally listened to. But still — all opinions have the ability to make an impact.

An impactful life as a more meaningful life

My thought:

We feel that our lives are more meaningful if we are able to make a strong impact on other human beings.

How do we impact others? By sharing our thoughts and opinions with them, sharing our artwork with them, or even through friendship, interacting in society, with strangers — essentially living and interacting with other humans (virtual world, embodied world).
