{"id":149897,"date":"2019-06-19T19:29:16","date_gmt":"2019-06-20T02:29:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/?p=149897"},"modified":"2019-06-19T19:29:20","modified_gmt":"2019-06-20T02:29:20","slug":"eternal-creativity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2019\/06\/19\/eternal-creativity\/","title":{"rendered":"Eternal Creativity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eternal life&#8230; in order to do what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s say we discovered the secret of immortality and eternal life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let us assume we looked 10,000 or even 100,000 years ahead of ourselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What would we do with all this time? What would we want to do for eternity? Would we simply be bored to death, and want to commit suicide after a certain while? Or would we still have new and epic goals to strive towards? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An eternity of creation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I had eternity, what I would probably do is a combination of these things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Continually innovate, improvise, in all of my artistic forms of expression. Photography, painting, calligraphy, sculpture, architecture, music, dance, poetry \u00e2\u20ac\u201d I would embrace it all! And perhaps even create NEW forms of self expression which do not yet exist. <\/li><li>Physical strengthening: Seeing how strong I can become in deadlift, squats, dumbbell press, chin-ups, etc. <\/li><li>Exploration: To endlessly explore our planet, other planets\u00e2\u20ac\u201d thriving in exploration, discovery, and conquest of new places!<\/li><li>Social: Living in a world of eternity without friends or loved ones wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be a life worth living. Deepen certain social bonds, friendships, etc. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Taking this back to reality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now \u00e2\u20ac\u201d taking these simple concepts, how can you extrapolate this to your everyday life? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Treat everyday like a mini lifetime, and imagine the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153eternal recurrence\u00e2\u20ac\u009d of everyday, for ever. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How would you thrive? Be joyful? Find happiness and optimism?
