  1. What prevents us from creating?<\/li>
  2. Is it \u00e2\u20ac\u0153good\u00e2\u20ac\u009d for us to create?<\/li>
  3. What is the meaning or significance of us to create?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

    First of all, I think creating is fun. Creating things is more fun than passively consuming. Of course we need to consume in order to survive \u00e2\u20ac\u201d but the purpose of our lives isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t to consume. The purpose of our lives is to create! And we need to consume (some) in order to create. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For example, a human being cannot survive or thrive without eating food. But if we spend 90% of our day eating, we will become obese and pretty much indistinguishable from a cow at a feed lot\/slaughter mill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Creating empowers us and others <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Self empowerment here is key. Also, I think we derive deep meaning when we empower and help others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Thus this turns into a virtuous cycle:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Empowering ourselves in order to empower others -> When we empower others we feel joy (empowers us to create more)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    3. Driving the human race forward <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    When we create \u00e2\u20ac\u201d we create things which can help drive the human race forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Consider Steve Jobs\/Apple and the iPhone and all the other great devices they created \u00e2\u20ac\u201d which empowered everyone to become an artist! Even myself \u00e2\u20ac\u201d I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m typing this blog post on an iPhone, and using Procreate app to make illustrations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Or consider the photographic innovations from Edwin Land, Oscar B with the 35mm Leica. Without them, our empowerment as photographer artists wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be possible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Thus a simple idea:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Let us create tools, knowledge, ideas, etc in order to empower future generations of humanity!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    Make on!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
