It seems what I love in life (from an economic\/innovation\/technology\/life perspective) is value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

What is \u00e2\u20ac\u0153value\u00e2\u20ac\u009d?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A very simple definition of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153value\u00e2\u20ac\u009dis \u00e2\u20ac\u0153bang for the buck\u00e2\u20ac\u009d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How much power or utility are you getting from something, for [x] amount of dollars?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

For example, I find the Leica Q2 an incredible value<\/a> (even though it costs $5,000) because what you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re getting for the money is incredible. The Leica M10 (plus lens) will probably roll you around $10,000. I might argue the Leica Q2 is a superior<\/em> camera to the Leica M10<\/a>, because the Q2 has the ability to macro<\/a> mode (super close focus, which opens up infinite creative possibilities), and in theory has \u00e2\u20ac\u01534 lenses in one camera; 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm) \u00e2\u20ac\u201d around $8,000+ value of lenses in one camera body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

iPhone XR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I used the iPhone XS<\/a> and the iPhone XS Max<\/a>, but I would say that the iPhone XR<\/a> seems to be the most innovative phone because<\/em> it is a better value (bang for the buck). Pretty much the identical camera on both iPhone XS models, but the iPhone XR is far cheaper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disruptive technology <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Initially the notion of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153disruptive\u00e2\u20ac\u009d technology was,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Provide the same technology for far less money. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

So as innovators, perhaps what we should be doing is trying to provide the most supreme quality for the least amount of money. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RICOH GR II<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps the best value camera that currently exists is the RICOH GR II<\/a> because you get phenomenal value for only $550<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. APS-C (DSLR sized sensor inside a point and shoot camera). The Ricoh isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t that much bigger than a phone, but arguably has 7x better image quality. <\/li>
  2. Has integrated flash in the body. Shooting with flash<\/a> opens up so many new creative potential opportunities. <\/li>
  3. Price point: Almost everyone can afford it. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    I believe it is a perfect camera \u00e2\u20ac\u201d and the best thing is that it is so cheap and packed with insane value!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Value-thinking <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    It seems the ultimate goal isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t to be a cheapskate or to save money for the sake of it. Perhaps the point is to focus on making the best possible quality products for the least amount of money (Uniqlo). Also recognize that a lot of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153expensive\/luxury\u00e2\u20ac\u009d stuff is actually a great value \u00e2\u20ac\u201d for example Apple (basic iPad, iPhone XR, iPhone SE), Tesla Model 3, Leica Q2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Seek to have the best, or to create the best, with the fewest amount of resources, toil, waste, or money. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
