After buying all the stuff I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve wanted in my life I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve discovered that the cost of ownership (maintenance, stress) outweighs the joy of actually owning something. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

What doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t get old?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It seems the joy of making new artwork is the joy which never gets old. So perhaps the optimal strategy is to just keep making art! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe it is better to buy experiences instead of stuff<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experiences are more fun, interesting, and exciting. Buying stuff and owning it gets old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why I love teaching workshops<\/a> so much \u00e2\u20ac\u201d I so much enjoy the experience with being with new students, sharing new experiences, and having new feelings!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fun thing with food experiences is that I find trying out new restaurants, new foods, having new tastes sparks new creative insights. I think new tastes excites our taste buds, and perhaps unlocks some new creative pathsways in the brain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also know that what I love about trying new restaurants or coffee shops is the novelty of environment. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m always inspired by the presentation of the food, the ambiance of the place, interior decor, as well as the sense of space and architecture of a place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It seems the simple solution is to never stop making new images. Never stop making new photos, pictures, and visual experiences for yourself and others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
