I am excited to share that submissions for the street photography exhibition for the Miami Street Photography Festival 2013<\/a> is live! For more information regarding the exhibition, read more or you can click here<\/a> for all the details.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The festival’s main exhibition is open to participants throughout the world. Submissions will be juried by a panel of internationally accomplished members of the highly respected street photography collectives, In-Public, Strata and Calle 35.<\/p>\n JUDGES<\/strong><\/p>\n IN-PUBLIC:<\/p>\n –Blake Andrews<\/a><\/p>\n –David Gibson \u00c2\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n –Nils Jorgensen<\/a><\/p>\n Calle 35<\/p>\n –Marcelo Caballero<\/a><\/p>\n Strata<\/p>\n –Chris Suspect<\/a><\/p>\n Selected images will be displayed at the festival’s main gallery during Art Basel,\u00c2\u00a0one of the world’s premier art scenes,\u00c2\u00a0where hundreds of thousands gather each year in Miami to celebrate the visual arts.<\/p>\n THE 2013 MSPF AWARDS<\/strong><\/p>\n Three finalists will be chosen as this year’s recipients of the MSPF AWARD. The Grand Prize recipient will receive the intuitive\u00c2\u00a0Leica X2<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0camera, brilliantly designed for the needs of any street photographer. In addition, the first place and\u00c2\u00a0two runner-ups will be awarded with\u00c2\u00a0a premium handcrafted camera bag by Ona.<\/p>\n The 2013 MSPF Awards will be selected by the featured speakers at the festival, including\u00c2\u00a0world-renowned Magnum photographers, Alex Webb, Bruce Gilden, Constantine Manos, and author\/photographer Rebecca Norris Webb.<\/p>\n SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS<\/strong><\/p>\n Guidelines for submitting images<\/p>\n *All submitted images must fall under the category of street photography, ” straight photography”. (i.e no landscapes, pets, models or wildlife) . *Finalists do not need to be present to win the grand prize Credit cards\u00c2\u00a0 will be accepted through our secure partner, PayPal ( You do not need to have \u00c2\u00a0a Paypal account to send payments). You will receive an email with your payment confirmation. \n*Any public location, worldwide, is acceptable.
\n*Photos may not be artificially staged.
\n*Photos may be either Black\/White or Color
\n*Only the photographer with the rights to the submitted image may enter that piece.
\n*Images may not be photoshopped, digitally manipulated or extremely altered other than B\/W color conversion or basic generally accepted darkroom adjustments.
\n*Unpublished and published work will be accepted.
\n* Finalists will be selected for exhibition from all entrants.
\n*Deadline is October 15, 2013
\n*All finalists will be notified by Nov 5, 2013, or earlier.<\/p>\n

\n\u00e2\u20ac\u2039Image specifications:
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Submit only .jpg\/jpeg files , no more than 1000 pixels on the long side, at 72dpi, and no larger than 2MB. Finalists will be asked to send a high resolution jpg. file (250-300dpi) of the entered image\/s.\u00c2\u00a0Printing\/Mounting\/Framing for the exhibition will be done by MSPF at no extra cost to participants.<\/span>
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Rename each image with your first and last name as one word, and a number before submitting (i.e. JaneDoe_1,\u00c2\u00a0 JaneDoe_2, JaneDoe_3, etc.)
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Do not include borders, watermarks or signatures.<\/p>\n
