\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The simplest equipment is the best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, GoPro is probably the best simple vlogging camera. Also your laptop webcam. Or just use the selfie video record function on your phone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want better audio, I like the RODE VIDEO Micropphone (Amazon), and pair it to any LUMIX camera with an audio outlet. I currently am using LUMIX g9 and 12mm f1.4 Leica lens, shooting in intelligent auto mode and it works very well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Simple editing <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keep your viseo editing simple: just use iMovie, or you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t even need to process the videos. Just record in MP4 format and upload straight to YouTube. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In iMovie, the only processing you might need to do is reducing background noise, or use the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153loudness\u00e2\u20ac\u009d audio equalizer setting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t need to be fancy with the editing; don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t get distracted by that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t censor yourself<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speak openly, speak freely, and don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t censor yourself. Say what is on your mind, and curse if you want to. The goal is to enter a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153stream of consciousness\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153flow state\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. To talk without thinking or being self-aware is the goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A tip:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Try to shoot everything in a single take. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is fine if you stutter or pause. In fact, the more you \u00e2\u20ac\u0153mess up\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, the better. Why? You seem more \u00e2\u20ac\u0153real\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and relatable. And the more real and relatable you are, generally the more people will like you (this is why everyone likes Ellen Degeneres), and we despise demigod celebrities who don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t seem human. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Have an opinion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The world is hungry for your perspective and opinion. They crave your authenticity. They crave you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The biggest mistake a lot of vloggers make is that they commentate without having an opinion. Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be a news reporter; be an opinion maker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An \u00e2\u20ac\u0153essayist\u00e2\u20ac\u009d is a person who ia trying to \u00e2\u20ac\u0153attempt\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to put forth their opinion and ideas. Treat your vlogging the same; strive to put forth your own idea and opinions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Sometimes it is random; but having the freedom to talk about anything I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m interested keeps me going! <strong>If you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t put restrictions on yourself, you will always have something to say!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example in my channel I talk about photography, philosophy, entrepreneurship, travel, and life. Taking this \u00e2\u20ac\u0153full stack\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and diverse approach has been great for me; I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve built more loyal followers who are interested both in my personal and professional life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Make it personal; fuck professionalism <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Share details about your personal life. This will make you more human and relateable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, making it personal makes your videos more genuine. Speak from your personal real life experiences; don&#8217;t just quote others or books.
