Basic ideas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Delete your Instagram<\/a> (or just delete all your old photos and start from scratch). <\/li>
  2. Start your own website\/blog<\/a> (bluehost.com<\/a> and install WordPress.org<\/a>). Use this opportunity to start your own personal brand<\/a> and platform<\/a>. <\/li>
  3. Give away or sell equipment you’re not using; zen of one camera, one lens<\/a>. Maybe buy RICOH GR II<\/a>. <\/li>
  4. Shoot every day, any camera. This can be your phone or anything else. Recognize all cameras are good cameras<\/a>. <\/li>
  5. Recognize you’re a visual artist<\/a>. And you’re also a photographer-artist<\/a>. Learn to take your play very seriously.<\/li>
  6. Start a personal photography project<\/a> in your own home city. You don’t need to travel far to make interesting photos. Seek to make the most comprehensive photography project in your own city!<\/li>
  7. Blog everyday about your photographic process or thoughts. Don’t try to make “good” blog posts. Just write a stream of consciousness, have fun with it! Share your photos, quotes you like or reflect on your photographic journey and process. <\/li>
  8. Start your own photography YouTube channel<\/a>. Just do selfie phone videos, and share your ideas on photography. Don’t worry about “haters<\/a>“; speak frankly and don’t censor yourself. <\/li>
  9. Start to philosophize more on why<\/em> you shoot photos. Strive to figure out why you make photos. When you figure out why you make photos, you can discover any “how<\/a>” to pursue your passion. <\/li>
  10. Curate your photography portfolio<\/a>. Choose a selection of your best 10 photos of all time. Also constantly add and remove photos from your photographic portfolio. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
