My friend Josh White<\/a> is my favorite contemporary photographer. Why? He shoots with his soul, his photos are authentic, and reveal who he is, and how he sees the world.<\/p>\n

I’m currently editing together Josh’s work, and I love his work because he mixes all genres of photography. He doesn’t care whether it’s a portrait of a loved one, whether a photo of a street, of a stranger, etc. He shoots what’s significant and meaningful to him, which I think photography should be about.<\/p>\n

I believe photography is about exploring our own inner world, and sharing that perspective or view with others.<\/p>\n

In following Josh’s blog<\/a>, I follow his life. I feel I’ve grown as a photographer and person, alongside him, and also learning through him.<\/p>\n

I’m currently putting together a digital PDF book of his entire work so far. Here’s some photos Josh has sent me so far, to sample his incredible range as a photographer.<\/p>\n
