Or you can just buy a new point and shoot camera while you&#8217;re on the road at a local camera shop (and put it on the credit card).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"What\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s in My Bag: Moving to Saigon for 2 Months!\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pFXanRx68h0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>For your bag, I would recommend just traveling with 1 backpack. I generally recommend the &#8216;ThinkTank Perception 15&#8217; series (for a smaller backpack). If you want a bigger camera backpack, I recommend the ThinkTank Perception Pro.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Ideal travel photography camera<\/h2>\n<p>If you have a heavy DSLR you don&#8217;t want to lug around for your trip, I recommend purchasing a <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/ricoh\/\">RICOH GR II<\/a> &#8212; it has an integrated <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/28mm\/\">28mm<\/a> lens, a great APS-C (dslr-sized sensor), and it is super-light. Oh yeah, did I tell you it also has an integrated flash? Get a RICOH GR II and pair it with an <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/product\/eric-kim-neck-strap\/\">ERIC KIM NECK STRAP<\/a>, or an <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/product\/eric-kim-hand-strap\/\">ERIC KIM WRIST STRAP<\/a>, and enjoy your trip.<\/p>\n<p>Another option is to invest in a <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2017\/05\/01\/eric-kim-fujifilm-x100f-review\/\">FUJIFILM X100-series<\/a> camera. The X100-camera is probably the best &#8216;bang for the buck&#8217; camera for traveling and street photography, and has a great integrated <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2018\/01\/11\/how-to-shoot-street-photography-on-a-35mm-lens\/\">35mm<\/a> &#8220;full frame equivalent&#8221; lens. Pair it with an HENRI NECK STRAP and you&#8217;ll have a great trip.<\/p>\n<p>The lighter and less obtrusive your camera, the more you will enjoy your travels, and shoot with less exhaustion!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>ACCESSORIES<\/h2>\n<p>For memory card, get the maximum space. I recommend a 128gb Transcend or SanDisk (whatever fits your budget).<\/p>\n<p>And while you&#8217;re traveling on the road, use Dropbox to sync your photos on the cloud.
