If so, I am excited to invite you to my upcoming “Discover Your Unique Voice” Street Photography Workshop<\/strong> in San Francisco\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>(September 15-16th, 2018, Saturday\/Sunday)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This workshop is suitable for intermediate\/advanced street photographers who have a good technical understanding of photography and the fundamentals of street photography. The focus will be to take your street photography to the next level, through honest & critical feedback and critique. This isn’t a workshop for the meek. If you are looking for an adventure and a challenge, this workshop will be perfect for you.<\/p>\n

During this intensive 2-day workshop, you will learn:<\/p>\n

  1. How to develop your style<\/strong> in street photography and stick out from the crowd<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. How to create a memorable body of work<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. How to focus on a project<\/strong> rather than just single images<\/li>\n
  4. One-on-one counseling<\/strong> on what to look for when shooting on the streets<\/li>\n
  5. How to identify your weakest images<\/strong> and effectively edit and sequence your work<\/li>\n
  6. Personalized street photography assignments<\/strong> to push you to the next level<\/li>\n
  7. How to develop a visual consistency<\/strong> in your work<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The workshop will be tailored to your individual needs\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>and you will have the opportunity to work on a mini-assignment for the weekend that will give you the foundation to work on longer more in-depth projects.<\/p>\n

    Workshop Schedule<\/h2>\n

    Day 1 (Saturday): 10am-5pm<\/h3>\n

    When we meet in the morning, we will use this time to get to know one another, and also discuss our weaknesses in our photography, and “why” we make photos<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

    This will be an opportunity for you to ask me any questions<\/strong><\/em> you have about street photography, and also help hone your personal vision<\/strong> <\/em>in your work.<\/p>\n

    Based on what you share, I will give you personalized street photography assignments, and help you discover your unique voice in street photography. These assignments will be based on what you feel like you’re lacking, and I will be the motivational push to help you achieve your “personal maximum.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    The entire day will be intense; we will be shooting for around 5 hours, and I will create 1:1 shooting time with you in the streets. This won’t be a boring workshop where you sit in a classroom the entire day; it will be an action-packed workshop where you will pound the pavements, and have lots of opportunity to pave your new skills, vision, and techniques in street photography.<\/p>\n

    Day 2 (Sunday): 10am-5pm<\/h3>\n

    Sunday morning we will have an opportunity to discuss the prior day’s shooting. We will use this time to review images, help\u00c2\u00a0discuss your personal strengths, weaknesses, and what you would like to continue to work on<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

    We will then go out together, and have more time to shoot and practice techniques, composition (layers, depth, triangles), and any other technical settings<\/strong><\/em> you might need help with.<\/p>\n

    At the end, we will have time to hone your skill and workflow in Adobe Lightroom. I will teach you the fundamentals of editing, and how to maximize your efficiency when selecting and processing your photos. We will also have a final critique session, that will be brutal, honest, and critical– that will help you continue your learning and vision after the workshop.<\/p>\n
