  2. Enlargement of purpose<\/li>\n
  3. Enhancement of power, by knowing our extension of skill<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In other words:<\/p>\n

    1. Increase skill<\/li>\n
    2. Increase purpose<\/li>\n
    3. Increase power, control over our lives<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      8. Have a confident, experimental, adventurous attitude towards life<\/h2>\n

      9. Our nature is not fixed; we can learn and change.<\/h2>\n

      man\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s nature is not fixed; as Heracleitus thought of man, he is a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153self-increasing logos\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

      Our nature not fixed, we can self increase and self improve ourselves<\/p>\n

      10. Intent is more important than the deed or consequence<\/h2>\n

      11. Well-being as a ‘cheerful soul’<\/h2>\n

      12. Art<\/h2>\n

      Art is “the soul’s power to change nature.”<\/p>\n

      We discover art from “the pressure of necessity”.<\/p>\n

      Also, by necessity, art must advance man’s ‘power’ and ‘self-sufficiency.’<\/p>\n

      13. What is a true pleasure versus false pleasure?<\/h2>\n

      14. Don’t have unmeasured desires<\/h2>\n
