1. Organic simplicity<\/h2>\n

  2. Eye to see nature (always train eye to see nature, to love nature, to appreciate)<\/li>\n
  3. Heart to feel nature (to have the courage to follow nature)<\/li>\n
  4. Courage to follow nature (to have courage in yourself)<\/li>\n
  5. Sense of proportion (golden ratio \u00e2\u20ac\u201d from nature)<\/li>\n
  6. Appreciation of work as an idea, and ideas as work (coming up with ideas is hard work)<\/li>\n
  7. Fertility of imagination (always stay child-like, curious)<\/li>\n
  8. Capacity for faith and rebellion (to have faith in yourself, and rebel against the system or society)<\/li>\n
  9. Disregard for commonplace (inorganic) elegance (anything inorganic is usually aesthetically ugly)<\/li>\n
  10. Instinctive cooperation (follow your gut, but also work with those whose ideas gel with yours).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Know the importance of photography to EDIT DOWN your photos to the essential; your best work.<\/p>\n

    Knowing that photography is also subtraction, like sculpting. Chipping away at the superfluous.<\/p>\n

    10. Space<\/h2>\n

    Give our photos more breathing room. Negative space. To breathe. Like air. We need to breathe to live.<\/p>\n

    11. Integration with nature<\/h2>\n

    We should build buildings that are integrated<\/em> with nature \u00e2\u20ac\u201d not separated from nature.<\/p>\n

    As a photographer we should integrate ourselves with our subject. To photograph the reality we experience.<\/p>\n

    12. Freedom comes from within<\/h2>\n

    Freedom isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t money, outside wealth, etc. Freedom is having the courage in your heart to make the art you were designed to make.<\/p>\n

    14. Feel bad for critics<\/h2>\n

    Critics are sad artists, who don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have the ability to create their own things. Or maybe not enough confidence to create their own things. Rather, their job is to criticize the work of other<\/em> artists.<\/p>\n

    Disregard the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcopinions\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 of critics. Consider them like babbling, afraid children.<\/p>\n
