The only thing that separates \u00e2\u20ac\u0153successful\u00e2\u20ac\u009d people and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153unsuccessful\u00e2\u20ac\u009d people is grit, tenacity, and endurance.<\/p>\n

If you want to succeed in your business, art, or life \u00e2\u20ac\u201d you need to put in a lot of work. That takes a lot of endurance.<\/p>\n

For me, it took me about 6 years before I felt this blog started to really take off.<\/p>\n

To become stronger physically, it took me at least 10 years in the gym before I could deadlift 3x my bodyweight.<\/p>\n

To be successful in my relationship with Cindy, I needed endurance, patience, and compassion. I needed to not<\/em> loose my cool, to not<\/em> get frustrated, and to not<\/em> yell uncontrollably.<\/p>\n

When you look at endurance athletes, what they do is train their body and minds. It also seems that breaking the threshold of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I can no longer do this\u00e2\u20ac\u009d is about 90% mental.<\/p>\n

My mom did an epic backpacking trip through Nepal for about 3 weeks. How did she do it when she was beset with fatigue and loss of motivation? She had endurance\u00e2\u20ac\u201d and would think to herself: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Just one more step in front of my other foot.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d She took it step by step, and before she knew it, she trekked for a hundred miles.<\/p>\n

Treat the same in your life. If you want to be a great photographer, just try to make your next photo a little better, a little more considered, and a little bit better in terms of composition and emotion.<\/p>\n

If you want to be a better parent, just seek to have a little more patience, compassion, and love for your kids.<\/p>\n

In your creative projects, seek to not<\/em> give up. To have the grit and endurance to work on your project for weeks, months, years, and sometimes even decades.<\/p>\n

You have a lot more endurance than you think you do. Never give up friend.<\/p>\n
