911 Carrera T— still hope for manual!

A day or two ago, I got some pretty bad stomach food poisoning, and I threw up, and slept for about 18 hours. As a consequence, I fasted for about 48 hours, missing dinner on one meal.
But the funny thing is, I just went to the gym today, having fasted for 48 hours (two days), and I was able to successfully hit a new personal record in my rack pull, eight plates.
Therefore, all of this nonsense that you must consume something before we lifting, or “working out”, is total nonsense.
-
Very simple — one rep max style lifting, the ERIC KIM APPROACH.
That is,
Lift the maximum weight you possibly can, just once.
No “reps” (repetitions).
-
Easy— use your legs!
-
I think I may be one of the most positive and optimistic people out there. Why? Maybe it is a result of my hard knock life upbringing (scars), or something else?
-
9 plates coming soon:
-
how long shall you remain optimistic and positive? 50×50. Jesus 2.0
-
I like my overall look aesthetics and silhouette.
-
I am an American who happens to know how to speak Korean, and also the cultural norms.
Also I look Korean.
-
First, you could lift heavier weight! Second, greater muscular gains.
-
Opt for hard(er)!
-
The only good music (and perhaps art) is hard music, hard art?
-
Why not? I don’t trust it.
Also subtle things — I prefer keeping a very long distance behind the car in front of me on the freeway — I don’t want a computer to dictate this for me?
-
The thing which you desire.
-
Diamond goals.
Intermittent fasting, fasting, cold exposure, also really hot exposure (insanely hot sauna), cold showers, ice bath, abstinence. Stoic training.
-
Perhaps we do. And then the drive is to keep aspiring towards even greater, more beautiful aesthetics?
Aesthetics in the context of clothes, cars, women, men, human bodies, etc.
Therefore, the drive of the weightlifter and bodybuilder is towards forever making their body more beautiful?
For example, a bodybuilder is never satisfied with his aesthetics. Maybe this is a good thing.
Also, a weightlifter and powerlifter is never satisfied with his numbers, or how much he could lift. Therefore, the goal then is towards ever infinite gains, both beauty and strength wise.
Perhaps in the context of car design, this is the endless pursuit? To keep designing the car to look ever more beautiful. And this shall never end. And this is a good thing.
Even with Lamborghini cars, note how the design ever evolves. Same thing goes with Tesla cars.
-
Strengthening as a duty and virtue.
-
Perhaps it is the undulation between cold and warm which is wise. For example, allow yourself to be cold when outside, but ensure that your home is warm.
Or, walking to the gym topless, when it is cold outside. But once you get to the gym, jump immediately into the hot sauna.
-
Maybe this is what makes an artist?
-
Not scary? Non confrontational?
-
One of the big problems of chasing mass is you might try to inadvertently force yourself to eat more than you think you should. This is bad. Once you’re full, just stop, and put away the food.
-
When people talk about becoming “healthier“, what do they really mean to say?
Does it mean losing fat, or putting on muscle mass? Or does it have to do with absence of pain? Overall well-being? Good bowel movements?
-
Funny enough, the weightlifting of the future will look more ancestral. Not all of these silly electronic things, but more basic, iron and steel. Kind of like the rogue fitness equipment meet strongman. 400 pound sandbag?
Yoke walk, yoke lift, farmers carries and farmers walks.
-
What is the most impressive modern day flex? Insanely muscular legs.
Let us note, how the ancient Greeks and Spartans did not have much leg armor.
Note — insanely heavy rack pulls (8 plates), atlas lift (9 plates and beyond):
-
Why having the right clothes is so essential.
-
Luxury robusta beans from Vietnam is the future.
Also, better for a Silicon Valley folks, and health conscious people because it has less sugar, and also more caffeine.
Arabica tastes far sweeter than robusta, because it has a higher natural sugar content.
-
This is why I am so confused that each new generation iPhone, and iPhone Pro keeps getting bigger, thicker, heavier.
-
This alone makes me not want to buy one. Why can’t they just make it all black?
