Seek Greatness, Not Perfection

The ancient greeks talked about greatness, but not much about ‘perfection’.

Where does the notion of perfection come from? (perhaps Plato), and how has it harmed us so much up until now?

Why does the difference matter?

The difference:

Perfection doesn’t exist, but greatness does.

Great means mega, big, large, grand. Anyone and everyone can become great; nobody can become ‘perfect’ (Plato’s notion of “perfect” forms, which don’t exist in reality). Have you ever seen a perfect circle or straight line in reality or nature? Of course not!
