When Leonardo da Vinci made his flying helicopter invention in which the user could peddle with their feet… 1490’s ish… the bicycle has not yet been invented??

Or in other words,,, often times the capacity and the capability has always been there, yet people haven’t been imaginative or creative enough to actually come up with real life use cases for it?
