90% Black, 10% White

An aesthetic idea I have: when it comes to the composition of things, do 90% black, 10% white.

For example, with your personal clothes perhaps it is a good idea to have 90% of your clothing attire to be black, with 10% white to add a contrast or a pop.

For example, it is impossible to make an all black photograph. Even with black-and-white photography we need some white, and some brightness. But I do prefer the majority of the frame to be black, with only some white adding an outline, a figure, and a visual anchor.
