Why I don’t think China will ever become more economically powerful than America:

All the great innovations happen in America, as American culture promotes and encourages aberrant thinking, disregard for notions of the family (China still has *some* vestiges of Confucianism which is anti-individual, more pro-communal).

Why do rich Chinese people prefer to buy the newest iPhone over the most high-end Chinese Huawei or Xiaomi phone?

China will never be able to create an Apple clone which is as interesting, sexy or great as Apple. Similarly speaking, China will never be able to produce anything as innovative as Elon Musk’s TESLA. Same goes with Kanye; no Chinese street wear artist will ever make shoes or fashion as cool as YEEZY.

Even with fashion, the trend has been French and Italian for so long … but sooner or later (via Kanye West) American luxury will make a come-back.

For example note that TESLA is an American car company!!! It is American!!! Elon and Tesla has car manufacturing plants in the Bay Area, and it seems slowly but surely … people all around the globe are hungry to buy Tesla vehicles.

Similarly speaking, when is the last time you saw a rich Chinese international student wearing a pair of $220 sneakers which were Chinese? Of course not. Yeezy sneakers are hot. And even with other street-wear companies (Balenciaga, etc) it is because AMERICAN rappers and musicians promote them (Cardi B, Meek Mill, Da Baby, ASAP FERG, etc).
