We all want to become beautiful or more beautiful. What does this mean and how do we do it?
1. I think I’m the only one who loves my own body
Almost everyone I meet seems to suffer from bodily ‘dysmorphia’ (hate of the way one’s body looks, feels, etc). But I think I’m the only one I know with bodily ‘eumorphia‘ (love of one’s body). Why is this? Well —
I like how I have high muscle mass, and low body fat, and it also brings me great joy to know I am continually augmenting my muscle mass and I’m still growing!
2. Auto-telic approach
Auto (self) + telic (telos, which means ‘purpose, reason’).
Therefore if you want to build a beautiful body, you must do it for yourself — for vain reasons.
For myself my heuristic is simple:
3. The simple solution
This works for all humans; all men and women, all races, genders, whatever:
To increase muscle mass (skeletal muscle) and to DECREASE body fat (adipose tissue).
Then the next goal:
Indefinitely (yet slowly) augment your muscle mass gains, while keeping your body fat percentage at around 10% for men and 20% for women.
