What is your “ground truth”?

What is the core or root of your thinking or beliefs? Religion? A certain doctrine? An ethical or moralistic ideology? Christianity? Buddhism? Life after death? The fallacious notion of an “immortal soul”? (I believe in a mortal soul — a soul which dies once your body dies).
