In the aesthetics of photography we are concerned with making beautiful photos. But why?
1. Beautifying who you consider beautiful
For example my love for Cindy. I consider her the most beautiful female human being on planet earth. Thus my striving towards beautiful aesthetics is to affirm how beautiful I consider her to be.
Thus my first proposition:
We strive to make beautiful photos of people who we consider beautiful.
2. Making beautiful photos of strangers or those who we don’t know?
Then perhaps this is what street photography is:
Making beautiful photos of people you don’t know.
