WHY do I write?

For me, it is insanely fun!!!

To me, writing ain’t no duty or nothing. It is pure fun, self expression! To steam my thoughts — this is better than sex!

This is the big thing:

To write is and should be done in a spirit of play.

I have realized this funny thing:

Ever since I have stopped forcing myself to be a ‘productive’ writer, I have become FAR MORE productive!

Productive as in producing much. Writing much. Thinking much. Enjoying much!

Another big thing for me — writing full-screen in iA Writer with MarkDown is the most streamlined process. No distractions. Only focus on writing, typing, me and my text.

Unconscious writing is the best writing

My thought:

The ultimate ‘zen/flow’ state is this — in which you no longer become you; the words just stream from your mind and thoughts onto the digital pad.

Thus the goal:

Strive to become more UNCONSCIOUS in you writing; to stream on.
