Why do we let others judge for us?
Perhaps lack of courage. Perhaps lack of insight. Perhaps lack of balls. I’m not sure, but I know for myself in the past, I didn’t have the courage to state my own opinion. What changed? The older I’ve become, the more I’m becoming like my old teenage self– hyper-opinionated, uncompromising, harsh, and direct.
To become judge means to give the middle-finger to convention, and to dictate for yourself:
This is what is best for me. I have decided.
