The Goal is Individualism

What is the best life? The life of the maximal self-independence, and maximal self-augmentation.

Why is individualism always looked at with an evil eye?

The problem:

All religions and codes of ethics in society have seen individualism as evil.

Why is this? Well — generally speaking:

What is good for the individual is bad for the collective.

What I mean to say is this:

Let us assume you start off the day with 100 hit points. Any hit points you devote to yourself are hit points you could have dedicated to the collective.

In other words, there is a battle out there for your body and mind. Society and the collective desires to control you for her own needs.

Brave new world

We are currently living in a brave new world — it is motherfucking 2020! Why are we still living such basic lives?

In America, not much has changed. The only big change I’ve seen as a child to now is the internet and smartphones. Everything else hasn’t progressed.

From 1988-2020, we are still making gasoline cars! This is insane! We still have to drive ourselves!

The internet has highly disappointed me. Our 90s tech optimism has faded. We no longer see the infinite power of the internet. We only are stuck in the matrix of social media. Basic notions like getting more views, followers, and likes.

Also, our thinking on money is still quite basic. Besides crypto currency, there are no real huge game-changing notions on money and finance.

Don’t strive to change the world — strive to change and self-develop yourself.

My thought:

It is a waste of energy to try to change others and society. Better to change yourself, and strive to become the most epic individual you can.
