Not Hard for the Sake of Hard.

A problem in modern society:

We valorize hard work the sake of hard work, but rarely do we think, “Why?”

If you want to discover more truth WHY you do anything in life, have a quick chat with ‘Zen of Eric‘ (my new philosophy chat-bot, which is currently only available in America).

Where does the notion of going ‘hard’ for the sake of it come from?

For the most part, I think (generally speaking) it is better to ‘go hard’ than to ‘go soft’. But we must have a purpose why we want to go hard, and for what.

My theory:

Only go hard to prove something to yourself, not to prove it to anyone else.
