Deep Art

The most satisfying part of existence is to be an artist … to disappear into your artwork … and to keep making art.

Artist as the apex individual in society — artist-philosopher-king, tyrant ?

What lasts?

The works left by artists, architects, ideas/books/knowledge/information by thinkers-philosophers, and great innovators (social, political, technological).

What doesn’t last?

Money, social position, possessions, our personal biological life.

What to focus on?

It seems a good strategy in life to NOT waste time trying to accumulate more money, honors, and stuff — because all of this quickly perishes.

If your goal is to seek immortality amongst mortals, it seems the best focus in life is to create artwork, to create ideas, to write books, to come up with new innovations (cultural, social, technological), and to essentially live different, think different, behave different, and to create differently from the masses.

To create your own platform— to not be dependent on other social media platforms. To be an independent entity and individual.

My focuses in life

  1. Art creation and innovation: To always be making new art works, to always be challenging conventions and conventional thinking, and to always be pushing artistic-technological boundaries. To become a Da Vinci— ultimate hybrid and synthesis between art and technology.
  2. Deep thinking: To think deeply on all parts of life, philosophy, and existence. To walk, wander, and explore endlessly. To constantly experiment with my own personal life and my own mode of living/lifestyle.
  3. ”I have sought for myself”: To experiment by myself, to NOT take the words of others. To test everything for myself, to put my hands to it — and deem whether it is worthy for me or not.
