What is the point of photography?

Perhaps the point of photography isn’t to become a “great” and famous photographer (in the eyes of others) but instead, to just keep making new photos, for eternity (until our own personal death)?

Perpetually creative activity

1. Constantly make new photos, without regard for your past photos. Not desiring to “improve” your photos (comparing your past photos with the photos you shot today) but instead, to continually make new photos for the sake of it.
2. The recognition that by constantly making new photos, you’re going to “improve” anyways.
3. We are happiest when we are creating: Maximizing our opportunities to shoot photos, edit and select our photos, process our photos, and to share them.

Simplest settings possible

1. Just shoot JPEG, and when in doubt, just shoot it.
2. Don’t be a slave to any photo genre. Shoot anything and everything, however many times you want to.
3. Never stop experimenting in your photographic process.
