Taken while crossing the San Mateo Bridge, parked on the shoulder with my Canon 70-200L.

I have been wanting to buy a wider-angle lens like the Canon 17-40L for landscapes, but I realized that the majority of my landscape shots are all with my telephoto. I love using the telephoto because I can zoom in on certain shapes that I see in the horizon, and enjoy having a "subject" in my landscapes. I feel once I buy my 17-40L it will honestly see no action....until I go to Europe or have an opportunity to shoot lots of beautiful architecture :]

And now shooting with my 5D, my imgaes are so much larger than those of my Rebel XT. I will have to soon invest in a new 22 inch LCD monitor as well. And man, I still have to buy a tripod which will run me about $200...but I also feel that I won't use it that much. But maybe getting a new tripod I will start exploring more nighttime photography, which would be really nice with a new wide-angle.

So many decisions...
