During the workshop you will be able to showcase your street photography, and get helpful comments and critiques from fellow street photographers. Not only that, but you will meet other supportive and passionate street photographers that will continue to help you even after the workshop.
What differentiates this street photography workshop with other workshops is that it will cover practical tips and tricks of how to shoot on the streets. Therefore it is focused more on shooting and less on theory.
On both days you will have the opportunity to apply what you learn through an accompanied on-the-street photography assignment with myself and the other participants. After the outing, you will get your best images commented and critiqued by myself and the rest of the participants.
Not only will you learn how to shoot on the streets with more confidence, you will also learn how to choose your best work and post-process your images via Lightroom 3 and how to create beautiful black and white images with Silver Efex Pro.
Although street photography can be intimidating, this workshop will teach you the practical skills on how to become more courageous and bold. You will learn how to capture “the beauty in the mundane” through candid images of people in their ordinary environments. Street photography is a wonderful craft, and this workshop will be helpful for those who want to get their feet wet!
After attending this workshop, many past participants have built their confidence shooting in the streets, learned how to get closer to people, can identify great street photography opportunities, and have kept in touch with one another. “Eric Kim is an extremely down to earth individual. He truly has an immense amount of passion for what he does. His electricity and enthusiasm inspired me to become the best street photographer I could possibly be. I had the honor of attending his Street Photography Workshop in LA and it was one decision I will never regret. Eye opening to say the least. Hands on training and a great foundation for anyone who even has the slightest interest in street photography. The anxiety and fear that once froze me has been completely obliterated and I have the confidence to go out and hit the streets and “See the Beauty in the Mundane”. Thanks Eric”
Eric just exudes enthusiasm for street photography that is contagious. He’s a great teacher and makes it fun to learn. I enjoyed his workshop and learned more than I expected. I also enjoyed walking and shooting with him. He is well informed and presents the subject very well. I would definitely sign up for another workshop.” – Rinzi Ruiz
“Eric Kim is a talented street photographer and a wonderful human being. He also is a very giving person and is very willing to share his photographic knowledge with anyone who asks. After becoming mesmerized by his wonderful street photography, I enrolled in his beginner street photography workshop and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.
