Due to overwhelming demand for the CONQUER YOUR FEARS WORKSHOP, Cindy and I have decided to add a number of dates in Europe. Amsterdam, it is time to to take your street photography to the next level on November 25-26th, 2017.

I love shooting street photography in Amsterdam. The bike culture. Picturesque canals. The coffee houses (not to be mistaken with the coffeeshops!). Interacting with the friendly Dutch people. Though I believe people are more open in the Netherlands, street photography there can still be intimidating, even for me.

Shooting street photography in Amsterdam takes guts. Street photography (in general) is pretty fucking scary. It can be even scarier when you’re photographing in your own city. Even now, no matter where I am I often hesitate before taking a picture. And I always regret it afterwards.

This is by far my most popular workshop. Why? It not only helps you in Street Photography, but life.

I know the confidence I’ve built in street photography has helped me more power in business ventures, less fear in personal relationships, and has helped me build an iron skin. It has also helped me gain the courage, and self-confidence to experiment in my art, to innovate, and to follow my own passion and heart.

NYC, 2016.

Of course, you are only going to get what you want out of the workshop based on what you put in. If you don’t want to be pushed outside of your comfort zone, this workshop is not for you. But, if you want to conquer your fears and meet new peers… don’t hesitate.

NYC, 2015

The workshop is expensive. It isn’t cheap. But it is an investment that will give you the tools for building your confidence, conquering your fears, and giving you more power and control in your life. This will be an investment that will continue to accrue interest for the rest of your life.

Looking forward to having you,
ERIC

Workshop Schedule

Day 1 (Saturday): 10am-6pm

Hollywood, 2012
Hollywood, 2012

We will meet Saturday morning where we will introduce ourselves to the group and I will give a brief presentation talking about the fundamentals of street photography. Before we head out on the streets to shoot, I will give you specific assignments and tasks that will make you push your comfort levels in approaching and interacting with strangers.

I will accompany you side-by-side when shooting street photography, helping you gain your confidence and also giving you tips & tricks on what to look for when shooting. There will also be a focus on how to shoot street photography in a sensitive way. In addition, I will also give you technical advice on the best settings to use on your camera for street photography.

Day 2 (Sunday): 10am-6pm

Downtown LA, 2011
Downtown LA, 2011

On Sunday you will have more time to shoot street photography in the morning, to catch the beautiful golden light. I will continue to help you incorporate design & composition into your photographs on the street and how to capture the light.

After shooting on the streets, we will return to the workshop location and I will give a presentation on editing & workflow in Adobe Lightroom 6. I will give you many tips & tricks to go through your images efficiently, how to choose your best images, and how to post-process your photos into beautiful black & whites.

You will choose your best images from the workshop and present them to the rest of the group. You will be given constructive critique & feedback on your images rather than the shallow “Nice shot” or “What lens did you use?” comments that you might get on Facebook and Flickr. Many people who have attended my past workshops say this is the most rewarding part of the workshop.

What You Will Learn
