Let’s think beyond —
More fun with image collages — the greater joy seeing sets of images with a dynamic balance of consistency and variety.
I desire a stronger visual stimulus
What I love about image collages:
By seeing more photos at once, you get a stronger visual stimulus response!
I love the single image as well, but lately I’ve been having more fun to look at my photos as thumbnails/galleries/collages. Seeing photos in my “camera roll”, I will shoot screenshots of sets of images I like.
Or another thing I will do is use the “tiled collage” setting in WordPress to display all my photos in a more dynamic layout.
It is good because for me — you can see more at once! And also seeing photos as small thumbnails is good because you can better analyze compositions as small collages and thumbnails.
Small thumbnails as a stimulus to spark memories
I love the photos I made of Cindy — because they are associated with some of the most personally meaningful moments of my life.
I just need to see a small thumbnail of a memory, to re-invoke wonderful memories, feelings, and emotions/experiences from the past.
So as a simple tip:
Create more image collages!
Create more galleries and sets of images. Follow your gut, and make sets of images which put a smile on your face!
