1. Sketch compositions you find inspiration from

By sketching compositions you like, you can integrate these compositions into your own photography.
2. Work the scene
If you see an interesting scene, don’t just shoot 1-2 photos. Shoot a lot, and figure out later which photo you prefer the most:
Work the scene by switching up with flash or no flash, with the framing, and with the camera orientation (landscape vs portrait orientation).
3. Selfies
Practice your composition, framing, and shooting by shooting selfies of yourself!
4. Silhouettes
Shoot -1 or -2 exposure compensation for dramatic silhouettes (film noir style):
